9 Glenview Road Update

Ads will run this week in various papers. There will be an Open House on January 24^th from 1-3 PM. An information session will be held at the Housing Authority Office on Thursday, February 4^th.

Johnson Drive

Susan Saunders will contact the Chitvannis and the Selectmen regarding the SHP decision to not further pursue this property.

The group discussed the groundwater issues raised by Greg Meister and the building inspector. There was some discussion of abutters expressing concern about potential development at this site. Susan Saunders suggested that the group will always run into opposition from abutters, and should be prepared for this in the future. Mary Tobin stated that neighbors’ opposition was not a deciding factor; rather the groundwater protection constraints eliminated the possibility of development.

CPA Application

The group discussed preparing an application to CPC to fund a study of Town owned land suitable for affordable development. Mary Tobin will prepare the application and send out to the group for review next week. Susan Saunders distributed copies of the application and information about the CPC process.

Lack of Response to Meeting Reminder

Susan Saunders expressed frustration regarding the lack of response to her emails concerning who plans to attend SHP meetings. Because she does not hear back from members it is uncertain every month if there will be a quorum. Please try to respond to her emails in the future.

New Business

Mary Tobin will be going before the Selectmen for reappointment to the SHP on January 26^th.
